Senior Full-stack Developer — AWS Environment & API Integration

Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer to architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems in an AWS environment. This role will focus on developing secure, performant APIs to power front-end applications built in Lovable.
Experience:
5 to 7 Years
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support Lovable front-end integrations.
- Architect backend services leveraging AWS, with a focus on serverless technologies (Lambda, AppSync, API Gateway,, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, Step Functions, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and observability across environments (dev, staging, production).
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data access layers (JWT, Cognito, role-based access).
- Optimize API performance, caching, and database query efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to define API contracts and integration workflows.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code (unit/integration tests, API docs).
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to monitoring and alerting systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years backend development experience (Node.js, React/Typescript preferred).
- Proven experience building and maintaining APIs in AWS serverless or containerized architectures.
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code solutions (IaC) solutions (AWS CDK preferred).
- Deep understanding of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database modeling and query optimization experience (DynamoDB & PostgreSQL preferred).
- Familiarity with Supabase, Neon, or similar managed Postgres environments a plus.
- Experience with API authentication, rate limiting, and error handling best practices.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to collaborate across product and design teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating with Lovable or other low-code front-end platforms.
- Knowledge of observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry).
- Familiarity with edge functions, CRON jobs, or event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to TypeScript and Supabase Edge Functions for API extensions.
